When those we love are no longer alive, something precious of their essence remains in the things they touched and valued. The collection of glassware my mother amassed over her lifetime is my intimate association with her. The process of engaging with those ‘meaningful vessels’ over time enabled a spiritual dialogue in the form of light-play that progressively re-animated her aura in a space of memory.
